Sofiya Sydoryak, L.Ac., is a licensed acupuncturist passionate about supporting her patients in creating healthy, vibrant lives. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Temple University and her Masters in Acupuncture from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies. Sofiya has been practicing acupuncture for six years and energy healing for over a decade as a Reiki practitioner, combining ancient healing arts with modern medical approaches to maximize results. She has traveled around the world studying with healers and shamans, deepening her knowledge of the healing arts. Sofiya is a descendant of a Ukrainian lineage of shamanic healers, and carries forward their legacy of intuitive, holistic healing into her acupuncture practice.

Sofiya specializes in pain management, women’s health and fertility, emotional and mental well-being, PTSD/trauma recovery, chronic illness, supporting people with autism, and cosmetic acupuncture / facial rejuvenation. Her work also includes volunteering at drug rehabilitation centers in Philadelphia, working with US Veterans and Ukrainian soldiers to help with their recovery of PTSD and war-related injuries. Sofiya practices Traditional Chinese Medicine, incorporating adjunct therapies such as cupping, gua sha, microneedling, and e-stim into her treatments. She is professionally trained and certified in Cosmetic Acupuncture, having studied under renowned acupuncturist Michelle Gellis.

In addition to her acupuncture practice, Sofiya founded Womb Alchemy LLC, guiding women through trauma recovery, womb healing, lifestyle changes, fertility, and empowerment. Over the past decade, she has facilitated women’s support circles, led international healing retreats, and taught online courses, helping hundreds of women reconnect with their bodies and themselves. 

As a trauma-informed practitioner, Sofiya prioritizes creating a safe, trusting space, knowing that true healing unfolds when the body feels secure. She treats each patient based on their body’s unique needs, addressing the root cause of an issue so as to create lasting results.
